Spectrum Noir Challenge - Bling

The Spectrum Noir challenge this month is to add BLING to your card.  This fun image is from Inky Antics and I colored her with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.  I found some bling cardstock in my stash and added some Glitter Border Lines too.
I used Karen Burniston's Lucy Label, but I doubled it and added a slot hole to animate the cake.  To double the Lucy Label, keep your cardstock folded in half, place the label portion of the die on the folded cardstock - you will still have the alignment numbs on the fold - then die cut.  I adhered a scallop oval from a companion die included in the Oval Accordion Card to mimic a plate.  Place the companion slot die centered on the scallop oval then die cut.  Cut a strip of 1/2" wide cardstock to make an "L" bracket, place adhesive on the folded bottom portion then put it through the slot to adhere it to the card base.  Now you have a spot to glue the cake to.

The inside sentiment is from Yipee -Skippee!.  I used a Funky Cakes peel-off from Elizabeth Craft Designs that was covered in Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter then colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  I die cut a scallop oval from Accordion Oval Card to look like a plate.  The wide glitter lines are the perimeter pieces of the Glitter Border Lines - I didn't want to waste any of that glittery goodness!

Happy Stampin',
Raquel
